Basic training was carried out in H.Q. Company in the early years for Arborfield’s history, then - later - it moved to Junior Company. All new entrants undertook this programme - some 14 weeks of square bashing, bull and physical exercise.

 

To say it laid the foundations of what all Arborfield Old Boys are today is an understatement. It was fundamental in all our character building and values we hold dear today.
