If you wish to obtain specific photograph relating to live at Arborfield or REME in general and you cannot find it on our website, please contact Charles Elsey (53A) at the REME museum. A truly remarkable, quietly spoken man, Charles has been working at the Museum for the last 8 years cataloguing the pictorial archive and can lay his hand on any photograph held in the archive in a matter of minutes. He has dedicated countless hours to this task and is enthusiastically committed to completing this Herculean task.
Over the last year or so he has set about digitising these photographs, and so far has committed over 3000 photographs of life at the 'Boys' School' alone. So you can see he is a fantastic source of knowledge and we, as an Association, owe him a tremendous debt of gratitude.
Charles is truly one of those 'unsung heroes' of our time -
